ServiceNow Technical Expert

Job Responsabilities / Description

  • You are driving the architecture and the implementation, coding, hands-on of the ServiceNow product as well as the integration with other systems.
  • You ensure that the solutions delivered to business units are engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.
  • Relying on ServiceNow's best practices implementation framework, you review design documents as well as code and you ensure the standards are adhered to for any implementation.

Competencies/Skill-sets required-

  • Minimum 7-8+ Years of Experience with specific Cloud implementation knowledge in architecting solutions for ServiceNow or similar ITIL implementations.
  • ServiceNow implementation knowledge and hands-on experience, code review is strongly preferred.
  • Working and hands-on knowledge of ITSM, IT Business management, CMDB, ServiceNow discovery, Service portal, Integrations product lines (must-to-have).

Integration Functional Consultant (Mulesoft)

Description

The Functional Consultant is responsible for managing, enhancing, supporting and maintaining
IT solutions that support business processes (development and administration of integrations
and APIs through Mulesoft). This position is expected to work closely with the business
representatives to provide collaborative solutions and practices to improve the business through
technology and process.
The position works closely with third party partners (offshore and nearshore) and is able to
effectively collaborate in this set up.

Responsibilities

  • Manages change requests on regional applications in adherence to regional change management processes and internal control requirements. Supports evolution of existing models and application maps.
  • Analyzes, implements and follows up to deliver a technical solution aligned with the
    agreed business processes and following the established governance and applicable

Position Requirements

    experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Good technical experience on various components of Anypoint Platform like Anypoint API

  • Advanced skills in communication protocols, API development, web services SOAP /
    REST, security, Java development, databases.
  • Use CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Maven and GitHub during the development and deployment.

I&O EMEA AWS

Description

Under the general direction of the I&O SRE & Technical Process Manager, the Edge Site
Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement in uptime, availability,
reliability, massive automation, and the evolution of systems to drive improving customer
experience. He/She works in close collaboration with peers in Digital Engineering,
Applications, Operations, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Process Management and
Global SRE to drive service evolution. The outcome is robust operational capabilities married
with product evolution that delivers results for the business.


The Edge SRE is also responsible for the availability of the digital applications in which
he/she is involved either in the cloud and on premises.


He/She might spend ~50% of their time in hands-on Operations within the Product Teams
for SLO attainment and their remaining time:

 

  • Engaging in healthy design debate to achieve a suitable balance between cost
  • optimization and reliability.
  • Providing expert consulting services within Product Teams to drive the minimization
  • of manual tasks through mass automation and self healing capabilities.
  • Leading the postmortem process and outcomes whilst encouraging blameless review
  • of defects / service impacts and identifying ways to improve.
  • Influencing the adjustment of the end-to-end operations, release processes and
  • technologies to drive attainment of SLO targets and increase product reliability.

 

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the general system uptime, focus on availability to comply with the defined SLA, SLO and SLI.
  • Define metrics. As applications evolve over time, edge SRE is responsible for adapting the right SLI and SLO and identifying significant projects that result in substantial cost savings or revenues.
  • Spend <=50% of their time spent on hands-on Operational run activities (toil). The remaining 50% should be focused on reliability, performance and efficiency improvements for Products
  • Supports the Problem Management process and Root Cause Analysis following P1
    incidents by promoting:

Education/Qualifications

User automation Lifecycle Expert

Description

The User Lifecycle Management DevOps engineer is responsible jointly with the team to deploy
and offer reliable tools and associated processes which enable the users lifecycle management
activities for employees (IAM workforce) and third parties (Customer identity and access
management) during the whole user lifecycle processes within the EMEA Region, supporting also
the single sign on, privileged access management and Multi Factor Authentication.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conclude, maintain and improve EMEA’s Identity and Access Management solution including connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configuration and third party system integration
  • Conclude, maintain and improve the customer identity and access management solution supporting B2B and B2C scenarios
  •  Develop an effective plan for applications on-boarding and integration
  •  Optimize automatic access rights provisions
  • Perform analytical role mining and entitlement analysis
  • Provide support with respect to building, configuration, and architecture of EMEA identity platform

Network and Communication Security Specialist

Description

The Regional Network & Communication Information Security Specialist function is responsible
for the operations that ensure the security of the network and communication services of the
EMEA region. He/She has a special focus on the integration of the best practices from
IT/Cybersecurity and OT Technologies into the daily operations of the Cement plants.

Under the supervision of the EMEA Network & Communications Supervisor, the EMEA Network
& Communications Security Specialist is a key player in the IT/OT convergence project
activities, and is responsible for providing L1/L2/L3 support to the network and communication
security services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist and deploy policies within the IT/OT framework.
  • Actively participate in the delivery activities related to IT/OT convergence projects.
  • Isolate cement plants’ network from the office network, by implementing the so-called
    “bridge” firewalls and the different network segments as per the IT/OT Holcim Security
    Standard.
  • Keep industrial firewalls hardened and with the right level of automation and
    configuration; housekeeping the rulesets ensuring the maximum efficiency.
  • Provide periodic support to cement plant managers or local internal control teams on
    information sharing to fulfill Minimum Control Standards in the OT environment.
  • Create segmentation inside the OT networks, ensuring the availability of the automation
    network.
  • Provide top-notch technical expertise to monitor IT/OT networks for security threats or
    unauthorized users.
  • Be a key stakeholder to the security projects in the scope of the department.
  • Provide technical support to operational issues for both network and communication
    services
  • Automate the environment to proactively improve the delivery of the security services.
  • Deploy the relevant monitoring tools and have the correct mindset to ensure proactive
    corrections and fast incident resolution.
  • Leverage and maintain appropriate tools to ensure configuration management and
    capacity planning.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration with Delivery, Security, EUS, I&O and the rest of the IT
    Services teams.
  •  Ensure the consistent and up to date technology & security skills.
  • Work with external suppliers to source hardware and software solutions to network
    security issues.
  • Deploy, test and maintain security systems such as VPNs, firewalls and email security.
  • Ensure that current network system security is suitable for future requirements of Holcim.
  • Identify compromised machines and report on security measures taken to address
    threats.
  • Analyze security risks and develop response procedures.
  • Developing and testing software deployment tools, firewalls and intrusion
    detection/prevention systems.
  • Creating security documentation for users, assisting in disaster recovery and gathering
    evidence regarding cybercrimes.
  • Work proactively on root cause analysis, problem solving and standard operating
    procedures creation.
  • Conducting regular security audits and preparing security status reports.
  • Ensure the Service Level commitments are respected by monitoring the main KPIs.
  • Follow and enforce the security, internal control and standardization principles defined by
    the Group and regional teams.
  • Work on the efficient transfer of delivered services into the run organization (service
    introduction)

 

Position Requirements

  • Level of education/qualifications normally required:
    • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with an IT focus
    • A professional industry certification; experience in networking systems, information technology, or network security is a must.
    • Advanced Professional certification in network domain ( CCNA, CCNP, CCSP) AWS Certified Advanced Networking is a plus.
  • Specific work experience:
    • Broad technical knowledge of IT with at least 6 years experience.
    •  Experience within IT/OT environments.
    • Well versed in multiple security technologies such as SIEM; Intrusion Detection
      Systems; Next Generation Firewalls; Deep Packet Inspection; Layer 7 filtering; Web
      Proxy/Content Filtering; PKI, Radius, Log Analysis, vulnerability management, etc.
    • Broad knowledge of business-impacting security scenarios and viable methods to
      detect these scenarios.
    • Experience working with 3rd party providers
    • Experience working on projects
    • Work experience in a related industry setting (cement, aggregate, ready-mix or other
      manufacturing industries) is a plus
    • Experience working with international teams is a plus
